When I heard that Liverpool was to host Eurovision in 2023 I decided to do a painting in celebration. As the venue was the M and S Bank Arena, I based my work on something similiar I did a few years ago using the Beatles in the composition and the Big Wheel as background even if it had since been removed. The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 is the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It was set to take place in Liverpool, United Kingdom, after Ukraine, winner of the 2022 contest with the song “Stefania” was unable to meet the demands of hosting the event. It starts 9th May 23.
